Turn a work made in Japanese into other-language editions without redrawing. Manga is translated per speech bubble, anime with subtitles and dubbing, and each language goes live as soon as its translation is complete.
First-time CromStudio users receive 1,000 coins. They can only be spent on generation inside Studio and expire 90 days after they are granted.
Dialogue is stored as text per bubble, so translation is a text swap. Run AI translation per page or per bubble and review and edit each result. The artwork stays as is, and individual lines can be corrected later.
Keep one video and add translated subtitles and AI dubbing per language. Pressing "prepare localisation" lets the system decide the order of translation, re-joining and dubbing, produces every supported language and continues to the publishing request. Subtitles are made from scenes whose dialogue audio is confirmed.
A work's supported languages are the source language plus every language for which all pages in the work are translated. There is no manual language selection; a language with even one untranslated episode is not counted. Languages go live as they are completed, with no need to wait for all of them.
Character chat replies come in the language the reader uses in the app. The character's operating prompt can be prepared for each supported language.
Works are distributed through the crom manga app and read on iOS, Android and the web. Revenue from reads is shared at the rates in the terms. Payouts are currently available to residents and companies in Japan; payouts to creators outside Japan are in preparation.
Japanese, English, French, Korean, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Indonesian and Thai: eleven languages.
Manga translations can be reviewed and edited per bubble. Anime subtitles can be reviewed per language, and retranslated lines have their dubbing regenerated.
Manga bubble translation, anime subtitle translation and dubbing each use coins. Subtitles and dubbing are priced per line of dialogue and include every supported language. The coin cost is shown before you run.
There is no creator-side region setting. A work with completed languages reaches crom users in each of those languages.
