You can go from character design to a finished page without drawing skills. Once a character is registered with their look, outfits and expressions, they stay the same person across every chapter.
The hardest part of AI image generation is drawing the same character twice. CromStudio lets you register a character up front — face, hair, build, plus the outfits and props tied to them. That information carries into every later generation, so your lead does not end up with a different face in chapter ten than in chapter one. Multiple outfits can be registered and swapped per scene.
You can consult the editorial AI from the outline stage. There are three modes — a conversational one for working out the setting, a generative one for drafting, and a review mode that points out weaknesses in what you wrote — so you can start from "I have no plot yet" rather than needing a finished script.
Lay out panels page by page, then generate artwork per panel with the composition and character placement you specify. Generated images are placed into the page and can be replaced or partially corrected. Colorization of monochrome pages is supported, and colored versions are kept as separate versions so the original is never lost.
Dialogue is placed as speech bubbles with adjustable position, size and font size. Bubble text is also the unit of translation, so you never have to redraw a page to produce another language edition.
