Sign-up is free. AI generation uses coins, which you buy or receive monthly with a subscription. All prices include tax.
What is free
Creating an account costs nothing. Entering and editing works, characters, plots, screenplays and story manuscripts, consulting and diagnosing with the editorial AI within the monthly free allowance, confirming dialogue audio and production prep in the screenplay-to-anime route, adopting backgrounds from the asset library, timeline editing and publishing to the crom manga app are free. Generating images, video, voice and music, AI idea suggestions, translation and dubbing use coins.
First-time CromStudio users receive 1,000 coins. They can only be spent on generation inside Studio and expire 90 days after they are granted.
How coins work
Image, video and voice generation consume coins each time they run. The amount depends on the feature and the AI model and is shown on screen before you run. Coins may carry expiry dates or usage conditions; see the purchase screen for details.
Subscription plans
Coins are granted every month and the coin cost of image and video generation is discounted (text AI and dialogue audio are not discounted). While subscribed, downloads are watermark-free and the editorial AI's free allowance is larger. Pro also includes EPUB export. Yearly billing is available.

Is it free to use?
Sign-up is free. Entering and editing settings, plots, screenplays and manuscripts, and publishing, cost nothing. AI generation needs coins, so to generate you buy coins or subscribe.
Subscription or coin purchase?
For continued work a subscription is better: coins every month, discounted generation and watermark-free downloads. For a first try, buying coins is enough.
Can I cancel any time?
Subscriptions can be cancelled from the account screen.
Can I earn revenue by publishing?
Publish to the crom manga app and revenue from reads is shared at the rates in the terms. The offer type and price of each episode are set by the service. Payouts are currently available to residents and companies in Japan.
